The Directorate for Research, Studies and Statistics (DARES) and the International Labour Organization (ILO) are inviting you in Paris on June 19, 2018 to the international conference on “Polarisation(s) in Labour Markets”.
This one-day conference will bring together researchers and international experts who will present their latest work and share their findings focusing on three themes. The phenomenon of polarisation and occupational transitions patterns will be placed in a historical perspective that dates back to the 1950s.
Transformations of firms and territories will be analyzed in the context of the development of new technologies and international trade. The impact of taxation and the minimum wage on the development of polarisation and wage inequalities will finally be highlighted.
